Flash Paddle: Boiling Creek

Place: southeast side of yellow river bridge parking area on Highway 87 below Milton, Florida. To get there, take I-10 east to Highway 87 South (a Milton exit). Go south several miles till you come to the big bridge over the Yellow River. Take a quick glance and see if sturgeon are running, then go past bridge to parking on left side.

Comments: You must have an eglin pass to paddle or pay the fine or worse. Joining us will be be a small group from Louisiana and another from the Navarre area in Florida. If you have not paddled Boiling Creek and you do have an Eglin permit, you will be in for one of the 8 wonders of the world -- easy paddling, crystal clear waters, great, great visuals and plenty of good swimming and a chance to cool off.
Bring sun screen, beverages and lunch or snacks. Plan for 3-4 hour paddle and maybe something afterwards locally.
