FLASH PADDLE - SATURDAY AFTERNOON
Magnolia River, Magnolia Springs, AL
Date: March 12, 2005
Time: 1:00 PM
Place: Exxon @ Hwy 98 & Magnolia Springs Hwy (southeast of Fairhope)

Comments: We will drive a few blocks to the County water access at the end of Rock St. Depending on group concensus and wind conditions, we will either paddle one-way out Magnolia River and up along the eastern shore of Weeks Bay to the take-out at the Hwy 98 bridge, or out Magnolia River and back to the put-in. The trip time should be about 2.5 hrs. Bring fluids, hat, sunscreen. This will be low-key and suitable for beginners and those wanting to see springtime flowers and wildlife on the Magnolia.
