This trip is a great opportunity for experienced paddlers, or beginning paddlers who are willing to “cowboy up”! The adventure will take us to five unique waterways that show off the best of northwest Florida. We will look for wildlife. We will take some pictures. We will work on our paddling skills. We will discuss issues like water quality, invasive species, public access, user conflicts, and hurricane recovery.

The registration fee of $50.00 covers guide service, insurance, water, snacks, and first aid supplies. Participants will receive a paddling resource packet and maps for each day. Participants will be responsible for their own lodging and meals. If you need to rent a kayak from us for the week, the cost is an additional $50.00. If you bring your own kayak, remember to include a paddle and life vest. We will meet at Wakulla Springs State Park at 8:00am and go on the Jungle Cruise at 9:40am on Thursday, October 26th. We’ll eat dinner together Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, around 7:30pm. We will stay in Wakulla, Florida Wednesday and Thursday nights and in Chipley, Florida Friday and Saturday nights. Register early so you can make your motel reservations before they fill. We will mail you a registration confirmation with motel reservation info and a list of things to bring.
