January Meeting
The next meeting will be Tuesday, January 3rd at 7 p.m. in the Tensaw Theater at Five Rivers Delta Resource Center.  Michael Pornovets, Navy Veteran, of Everything Kayak, L.L.C. in Biloxi, MS will be our guest speaker this month.  Michael will talk about the Wounded Warrior Project and our opportunities as kayakers to volunteer in the Wounded Warrior Project program (kayaking).

Bob Strader, MBCKC member, will present this month's mini-slideshow on his November paddle trip from Murder Creek (at Brewton) to the Conecuh River to Pollard.  He shared a little about this paddle at the December meeting and so many people were asking questions that we have invited him to tell us more about this 14.2 mile trip.

MBCKC welcomes Paul Taylor  back home from Iraq after serving there for several months (6+).  Paul will present Five Rivers with special gift at the January meeting.

December Meeting
December's meeting was lacking quite a few members, but the photo show and pot-luck dinner was enjoyed by all!  We had several new paddlers join us and it was nice to get to greet new faces!  Thanks to everyone who brought photos, newspaper articles, and food to share!
